USA ARMS DEALS WORLDWIDE
Why is the USA allowed to try to get what it wants in other countries when it imprisoned Afghans & Iraqis with no trials and subjected them to torture. Are they the worlds watchdog that can dictate to any country in the world??? Why can the DEA bust Bout in Thailand and get away with it when no drugs were found on him and what gives them the right to use Thailand as a base--luring him to Thailand. What if Thailand Police arrested one of the US arms dealers in USA and pinpointed that dealers involvement in arms deals in SE Asia???
Russian Foreign Ministry learned with much satisfaction the reports on Thai Criminal Court’s decision to free the Russian citizen Viktor Bout, who was suspected of planning a sale of weaponry to the Revolutionary Armed Force in Colombia (FARC), the ministry’ s deputy official spokesman, Igor Lyakin-Frolov said Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the Thai Criminal Court issued a non-guilty verdict to Viktor Bout, thus denying a request from the U.S. to extradite him.The court ruled the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) was a political organization and not a terrorist one, as the U.S. had claimed. The USA set this meeting up on Thailand soil and then wanted him extradited to the USA yet they still sell arms to whoever with immunity --- check out the USA arms record??????? Why USA , UK etc allowed to sell arms to whoever they want yet want to restrain Russia: They even used BOUT for their own purposes In a January 2005 letter to Congress, then-Assistant Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz admitted the Defense Department “did conduct business with companies that, in turn, subcontracted work to second-tier providers who leased aircraft owned by companies associated with Mr. Bout.” At the time, Bout was already a wanted international fugitive. Intelligence officials had considered Bout one of the greatest threats to U.S. interests, in the same league as al Qaeda kingpin Osama bin Laden. Interpol had issued a warrant for his arrest; the United Nations Security Council had restricted his travel. But that didn’t stop U.S. government contractors from paying Bout-controlled firms roughly $60 million to fly supplies into Iraq in support of the U.S. war effort, according to a book released last year by two reporters who investigated Bout. And it didn’t prevent the U.S. military from giving Bout’s pilots millions of dollars in free airplane fuel while they were flying U.S. supply flights. From 2003 through at least 2005, Pentagon contractors used air cargo companies known to be connected to Bout to fly an estimated 1,000 supply trips into and out of Iraq, according to “Merchant of Death: Money, Guns, Plans, and the Man Who Makes War Possible” by Douglas Farah and Stephen Braun. A Pentagon spokesman confirmed to the authors that the military gave 500,000 gallons of fuel to Bout’s pilots. In an interview Thursday, Farah said he understood Bout may have worked on behalf of the U.S. government as recently as last year. USA SELLS WHITE PHOSPHEROUS TO ISRAEL YET TURNS A BLIND EYE: Amnesty International researchers in Gaza found several weapon fragments after the fighting. One came from a 500lb (227kg) Mark-82 fin-guided bomb, with USA markings indicating parts were made by the US company Raytheon. They also found fragments of US-made white phosphorus artillery shells, marked M825 A1.On 15 January 2009, several white phosphorus shells fired by the Israeli military hit the headquarters of the UN Relief and Works Agency in Gaza City, destroying medicine, food and aid. One fragment found at the scene had markings indicating it was made by the Pine Bluff Arsenal, based in Arkansas, in October 1991.The human rights group said the Israeli military had used white phosphorus in densely populated civilian areas, which it said was an indiscriminate form of attack and a war crime. Its researchers found white phosphorus still burning in residential areas days after the ceasefire.Israelis Missiles launched from helicopters and unmanned drones, including 20mm cannon and Hellfire missiles. Larger laser-guided and other bombs dropped by F-16 warplanes. Extensive use of US-made 155mm white phosphorus artillery shells and Israeli-made 155mm illuminating shells that eject phosphorus canisters by parachute. Several deaths caused by flechettes, 4cm-long metal darts packed into 120mm tank shells, and fragments of US-made 120mm tank shells.in 2007, according to a report produced by Congressional Research Services, the US gave $3 Billion of military aid to Israel. Israel arms exports go to other hot spots in the world. A partial list includes South Africa, Argentina, China, Singapore, Turkey, India and Ethiopia. It is a nice trade for Israel with $3 billion plus coming in each year to help them defend themselves from USA and over $4 billion going out as they on-sell the military arms and technology to others. The US is by proxy selling arms to China and others countries it distrusts . There is an irony here, as the US often finds itself facing its own armaments in countries where it moves to intercede, such as Afghanistan. Israel, in addition to the government aid, also gets $1.5 billion a year in private donations from individuals or foundations in the US. All this for a country with a population of less than 8 million.the US sells to Israel, who exports then to China, who then sells to Iran. By proxy, whether intentional or not, the US just assisted Iran to escalate its military capacity. Source: mydailyclarity.com/
