Design your
tour or Trek!
Treks can be arranged any time and anywhere from hard, medium, easy
with or without Elephant riding. You can go bamboo and White water
Rafting, playing golf or just ask us to arrange a business schedule to
visit factories for you & have a driver ready for you for 1
hour, 1 day or 1 week. We have cars, vans, buses and 4 wheel drive
vehicles plus motorcycles so you choose. Visit the Hill tribes of your choice and
much more or let the family tour and you do the business.
TREKKING is
walking from village to village following scenic local trails. On
Maetang and Pai treks we visit the colourful Hill tribe people, The
Karen from Burma, and the Lahu , Akha Hill tribes. Cosy evenings are
spent by the fireside discussing, learning and exchanging
experiences with your guide and fellow trekkers. Delicious meals,
cooked by your guide are eaten by candlelight as there is no
electricity. Overnight is spent in a simple but atmosphere simple
atmosphere Hill tribe bamboo house.

Other Information
The
temperatures during the day are quite hot throughout the year and
the sun is burning mercilessly down on you. You should bring a large
drinking water bottle and you must protect your skin from
sunburn & insect repellant.
During the day it is best to wear long trousers and a
shirt with long sleeves (but take shorts ). Also you should wear a
hat. (Thais usually cover every part of their body with clothes if
they have to remain in the sun for long.) From
the end of November to the beginning of February it can become quite
cold at night. Sometimes near freezing temperatures in high places.
You should prepare some warm clothes if you go trekking during that
time. During rainy season, from August to November, a rain coat or
poncho may be appropriate. While bamboo rafting you will become a
little wet. It is best to wear shorts and sandals (if you have)
while rafting.If you don't want to part with your mobile we now sell

cost is 150 baht each.

| Itinerary
Day 1
trekking
9.00-9.30 am. pick up from hotel by truck. After a short
40 minute drive, we will stop at the Ban kad Market for
fresh supplies. And there you will have time to buy things
you might need on the trek. After 45 minutes Drive to Meo
village and 15 minutes walk to Mae Wang Waterfalls at the
Doi Inthanon National Park.Here we will have lunch and go
swimming for an hour.Then we will visit the Karen hill-tribe
village and drive to the end of the road. After that we
start walking for about 2.5 hours to the place where we will
spend the night. |
Day:
2
After breakfast we will walk for 1.5 hours.to visit
Pang-Mom an original Karen hill-tribe village.Then we will
walk for about 1.5 hours to the Mae mod waterfalls and have
lunch. After lunch we will walk for about 2 hours along the
stream and through the jungle until we arrive at the paddy
rice field nearby the Shan village where we will spend our
second night.

3
After breakfast we will walk for about 20 minute to the
waterfalls.Then we will walk for 1 hour to Shan village .
The guide will take you to see whisky house, and have lunch.
After lunch by truck 10 mins. To bamboo rafting about 1
hour. And then elephant ride for about 1 hour.then we will
drive back to Chiang Mai city where we will arrive at about
5.00 pm.
