If its Golf you like then Pattaya and Chiangmai have it all. From 20 courses to choose in and around Pattaya and then 10 more up around the tranquil city of Chiangmai, you can mix pleasure with sports whether it be a mixture of Golf, fishing or recreation we can assist you. Pattaya has an excellent reputation for no wait list on their courses. Chiangmai is one of Thailand's favourites and more than not you have to book as these courses are popular. However as many have bar setups and refreshment stops one can enjoy a good days golfing. You never need to play on the same course. All courses are between 18 & 27 holes and designed by such big names as Jack Nicholas, Nick Faldo, Trent Jones Jr, Thompson & Wolveridge etc. They are also relatively cheap for green fees. Pattaya has to be the best place to play golf in the world with its excellent sea breeze & lovely all round weather.Remember 1 rai of land = 1600 sq.metres.

Green fees weekdays:440 guest 660 for visitors weekend 1100 baht guest, 1320 per visitor. Caddies 180 per 18 holes. Rental clubs 500-1000 baht. Shoes 150 baht; umbrella 100, Cart 600. 5/. Eastern Star Golf Course: 241/3M 3 Banchang Rayong 21110. Tel: (038) 630-410. Fax: 630-418. Course is 1300 rai. Designed by Robert trent Jones. weekdays fees 330 guest & 500 visitor. caddy is 180 for 18 holes. Rentals: Club set 300, Shoes 50, Umbrella 100 cart 500. All credit cards.  The Eastern Seaboard Golf Club, Soi Skaw Beach off 2nd Rd (038) 720-370 & run by Swedes. is a member of the USGA at 1000 baht or 1 year for 300 baht. The card allows you to play on 15 courses & 10% discounts. This Club has an indoor driving range, video analysis, storage for your clubs and restaurants, bars and a comprehensive shop.
