Welcome to API Institute of Education, a school that offers a wide range of Diploma, Certificate and English language courses. We specialize in New Zealand Diploma in Business, IELTS Preparation, Academic English and General English. We also offer Study Holiday Courses (a combination of classroom study and English through activities) and tailor-made courses for tour groups.

The New Zealand Diploma in Business(NZDipBus) is the traditional business diploma in New Zealand, a qualification highly regarded in the buiness community, universities and other tertiary institutions. It is not correlated to the levels on the National Qualifications Framework but its 100subjects (first year university stud) correspond to Framework Level5 and its 200 level subjects (second year university study) correspond to Framework Level6.

This course Provides students with a firm grounding in the principles and practices of marketing, both at the national and international levels; Enable students to earn a vocational qualification which provides entry to careers in marketing; Position students to apply to a university or polytechnic in order to complete a degree in Marketing or a related discipline.

The certificate course runs over 6 months. The first 12 weeks, Foundation skills level 1, will focus on health & safety, general locations of systems and components, the use of workshop manuals, working in teams and time management. You will also have the opportunity to really get 'stuck in' and strip 2 and 4 stroke engines and reassemble them to a working condition. You will learn about fuel supplies, electrical supplies, cooling systems, lubricating systems, transmission and drive systems, braking systems and steering systems. Last, but not least, you will learn how to calculate areas, volumes, power, torque, apply listening and problem-solving techniques.
