THAILAND AIR MOTOR SCAM
Behind the scenes of fun in Pattaya there are the odd scam artists and one of these is no other than the Australian scam artist Lance Frederick Shaw of www.hiperfinance.com who scammed many foreigners in Pattaya and ended up IN JAIL. This guy is the ultimate Madoff scammer. BUT ANOTHER SCAM THAT NETTED ITS AMERICAN SCAMMER AROUND 6-7M BAHT from would be investors was Timothy Bobos whose still living in Thailand.

Lets take a peak at USA air motor scam, Timothy Bobos. He was a nice guy, very genuine, dressed decent (would't you on free money), but after losing all to keep his Thai wifes family afloat he resorted to the ever enduring scam on foreigners. His occupation was first listed as a tropical fish seller with his wife in the Soi 6 of Pattaya, then manager of various mostly defunct foreign owned Companies but when his money started to run out then he needed to get work & income from other sources. He worked for a USA company that eventually closed then aThanyaburi factory as the factory manager making ice coolers and air balloons in between his would be venture of the famous air motor. Nikola Tesla tried to make a pump by removing the metal band from around the discs, which improved the pump's performance, although he insisted on keeping the spacing between the discs very small, believing that at a certain point the pump would stop pumping if the discs were spaced too far apart-- but the venture was flagged. But this copy pump saw approx 7 investors lose around 7m baht and the guy showed no remorse let alone paid them any funds back!!!!!!!!!!
Tim Bobos decided to reinvent the wheel by building a centrifigul disk pump that he said would revolutionize the air driven car--an old Tesla idea but which had been around for many years & never evr got off the ground. Yes a con as the centrifigal pump was old hat yet he needed money and said he could make a pump that would revolutionize the vehicle industry and make millions. Of course the thought of millions of baht in Thailand was a dream come true so to those who invested it would all unfold in less than 1 year.
But as a warning to others who may meet Mr Tim Bobos its a warning to beware of this guy. If you need more info from the investors just write to us or keep reading below.

MAKE A REPORT TO DSI THAILAND
Who and what motivates these scams?? These are guys whose sources of income have run out in Thailand and who use all means to try to make their stay in Thailand easier by conning others. They get good at it & the AIR MOTOR PROJECT fell over but not forgotten and this is now being investigated. Those who lost did not get any funds back at all & some of the investors walked away save for a few. This is a warning to anyone who comes across Mr Timothy Bobos in Thailand --- he is a conman but things could change for him.
Sooner or later these guys believe they have gotten away with it and they will be caught. If you have any information on this scam artist contact the DSI, Thai Police, US Embassy or our law office below & any further information please send to us. Complete discretion assured.
How to stop being scammed
Investments offered ask to have a published investment statement. By their nature, con artists will be unwilling to put anything in writing. Merely by asking for an investment statements indicates you know your rights and are not an easy target. But ask & invest their resume including what companies they work for or work with in the past. You will find the ones listed from Mr Tim are mostly defunct??
Simple questions also will deter a fraudster. Here is a sample: What are my risks? How do I cash in my investment? Who will my money be paid to? What is the name and address of the entity you want me to invest in? Who do I contact if something goes wrong & full description of your existing company for background check?

Background of Thailand's [ AIR MOTOR SCAM ]
While reliable reports indicate that such cars are really being developed, many commentators have expressed doubts about the true potential of air cars & even TATA IN India were looking at the French made motorcar below but still its yet to come to the market--that was back in 2008 & each year to 2011 nothing has happened as promised?? so what does that tell you. Is an air motor more efficient than a battery powered car??? ---- I don't think so-----see pic below
. Some experts doubt that the cars will really be as cheap and efficient to run as claimed by MDI. A CNN article about the cars notes:
It is possible to power a car with compressed air, but the mileage claim is "at the edge of possibility," said John Callister, director of the Harvey Kinzelberg Entrepreneurship in Engineering program at Cornell University's College of Engineering.He noted that such dramatic fuel efficiency is associated with tiny experimental cars, not bigger mainstream ones.The article also states:Another expert expressed concern about the amount of energy it would take to generate the required air pressure: 4,500 pounds per square inch, or more than 120 times the pressure inside the tires of a typical four-door sedan. "That is above what you normally find even in an industrial setting," said William Bulpitt, senior research engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology's Strategic Energy Institute. "That takes quite a compressor to do. ... It takes horsepower to compress the air up to that pressure."
Lance Frederick Shaw is an Australian national who is a bankrupt, banned from promoting any financial schemes or should I say played the field then bolted. He is also the con man behind hiperfinance a now defunct website and this man stole thousands of U.K Sterling and $$$$,
