MANILA AIRPORT:Manila Airport Manila) Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Pasay City 1300, Manila, The Philippines is very security heavy. you go through scanners at every doorway. this is so they have more opportunities to scam you/ask for a bribe. Jeepney (converted military jeeps) and bus services run between the terminals for a small fare. Parking is available in front of the International Passenger Terminal 1 (parking A, B and C) and in front of Centennial Terminal 2. Cebu ---- go to the 3Terminal as below:

Long-term parking is available at the corner of Domestic and MIA Roads. A free shuttle runs to the terminals.

THAILAND TO THE PHILIPPINES: Check out Kuwait airways which is cheaper than Cebu and also check the difference of going to Manila or Clarke. Cebu charges for luggage; buy your food and you will need to shop around. Kuwait you can change your ticket but Philippines Air you cannot and Thai air is a little bit more expensive as at April 2009. Kuwait allows you to change your ticket dates but Philippine and Thai do not?? so check this as well.

CEBU AIRLINES :Cebu Pacific Airways is a Philippines budget airline carrier or supposed to be which flies to domestic cities around Philippines. Airbus Fleet with two A320s with 179 seating capacity and Eight A319s with 150 seating capacity. The low cost airline is based in Pasay City, Manila, the Philippines. Luggage is 15 Kg. per person plus 7Kg. for hand carry and 2 people you can combine for 30kgs. Check-in at the NAIA Terminal 3. Hotels at the Airport The Manila Airport Hotel (tel:(02) 854 7549 or 854 7550; website: www.airporthotelmanila.com is the only airport hotel - it is located in Terminal 1 but its not far to makati or Malati. Makati is close to the airport in the Business district and Malati is about 10 minutes further on if the traffic is OK. Taxis between Makati & Malati are 105 P approx. but youn can take the Train as well or BTS service at theSM Supernarket ir Rustins Mall; passengers in transit can hire a day room for resting. There are hotel reservation desks at the airport in both terminals and major hotels provide a shuttle service but like any Hotel try to book on the Internet as cheaper than going direct to the Hotels. Trolleys can cost 50 pesos & can be a hassle to find. Be calm as customs can be slow and don't lose your cool as they don't care about you at all.

There are two operational International Terminals at the Manila Airport and a third which is yet to be opened and a Domestic Terminal no more than 1 kilometre from the International Terminals.

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 the original International Terminal called NAIA Terminal where all international flights arrive except Philippine Airlines (PAL). This terminal you will normally arrive in &is old. At the NAIA, the G & S taxi counters are located by the escalator at the arrival area and near the taxi stand right outside Gate 1; they are open between 5:00 and midnight or even later in case of late flights. The fixed point-to-point rates, good for up to four passengers, can be paid in pesos or US$; all major credit cards or Avis cards are accepted.
Terminal 2

The second terminal is Centennial Terminal. Used by Philippines National carrier, Philippines Airlines (PAL). The terminal is modern and spacious. It caters for both Domestic and International PAL only flights.

Terminal 3

Newest terminal where Cebu land.

A good inexpensive Manila Hotel is the Riviera Mansion Hotel @ $US40 a night or their sister Rothmans behind. Another good Hotel is the Palm Plaza Hotel on 524 Pedro Gil, M.Adriatico Sts, Malate, manila. You are just s couple of streets over from the sea and Thai airlines has an office on Roxas next to China Airlines.

There are now three airport terminals for flights in and out of Manila

    • Domestic Terminal - All domestic flights, non-Philippine Airlines
    • Centennial Terminal - All Philippine Airlines flights only
