May 1st 2009:The Utapao Pattaya airport is now open for domestic flights .A nice terminal with bangkok Airways & with limited facilities at U-Tapao (U-Tapao International Airport Information Tel: 038-245595, U-Tapao International Airport Office Tel: 038-245600 or your local travel agent. If you want a good Travel agent ex Thai Airlines behind Jack & Tars in the small Soi 6/1 2nd Road opposite the Bangkok Bank on 2nd Road. All the expats use her and we guarantee good service from her.

Pattaya airport has flights from Samui, Phuket, with in season flights from Moscow (400baht airport tax out) but at this stage only 3 flights pr day as below. Bangkok Airways has three scheduled flights a day to Puket (13.00 Mon, Wed Fri Sunday) and Samui 2 flights 17.15pm Mon, Wed Fri, Sundays & 13.00 Tues, Thurs, Saturdays. The Pattaya Office: Tel: 038 412 382, open 8am-5.30pm.) and one to Phuket (12:40) , taking approximately one and a half hours.
Once you get to the airport entrance you drive down this road then a left turn at the end takes you direct to the terminal
You can catch taxis there into Pattaya about 35 minutes away and they have the usual facilities like restaurant, money changing as well as 2 Minibus kiosks @ 250 baht from U Tapao to Pattaya.etc & Bangkoairways ticketing etc. Hua Hin airport is around 114km away and Bkk airport 130kms about 2 hours drive

Mobile: (66) 083-2931045 our law 24 hour help service HOW TO GET TO PATTAYA : From Don Muang Airport, Bangkok, buses leave directly 6.00am,12.00, 6pm daily & cost 200 baht. Avis offer a limo service for 2,200 baht with chauffeur to the airport. From Bangkok buses leave Ekamai Bus Depot along Soi 63 Sukhumvit Road. They leave every 20 minutes every day. Cost is 120 baht. Taxis will take you also for 2200 baht from Bangkok to Pattaya a 3 hour journey. Pattaya North Rd station has many buses daily from 5.30am to 21.00hours. Also buses go to the Northern Bus Station Bangkok every 30 minutes t & here you can connect to a bus to Chiangmai. From Chiangmai there is a direct Bus from the Arcade Bus Station: Nachonchai Air. This is an excellent service & costs 600 baht leaving every 2 hours. This service includes 2 meals, pillow supplied plus snacks and drinks on board. Takes approx 14 hours and you can stretch out as only 32 seats. Once you reach Pattaya take a Songtaew pickup for 5 baht per stretch of road unless you negotiate before hand. Or take a train from Pattaya to Bangkok 33 baht then hop on the overnight to Chiangmai-choice of 3 trains leaving 6.00pm, 7.40pm & 10pm to Chiangmai.
