Nana Entertainment Plaza, opposite Nana Hotel, is a three-story building with an enclosed courtyard. The entire building and courtyard are full of bars run by the Crown Group but no relation to the King Group of Patpong. here its foreign owned. Most are of the go-go (aka "a-go-go") type with female dancers. Lady boys (transvestites) work in one bar on the 2nd floor  (which in the west is the first floor) & there are no gay bars. The drinks are dear 125 baht for a beer & around 90-110 for a coke with a lady drink the same so watch your pocket and check your bins to make sure they aren't overloaded especially if yourve had a few to drink. Make sure when you give a 1000 baht note that you tell the waitress what youve paid. Theres a restaurant (Woodstock) and two short-time hotels (Spirit House and Taboo). Nana starts around 8:00 PM till 2am which may change to even shorter hours. The Nana Complex is dirty, run down and watch out for your wallets. The place has changed as at 2008. 

 Feb 19th 2004 in the Carousel Bar on the 3rd floor one of our readers was robbed of his Australian cash when he took a girl home. Some girls are desperate but not all. We visited on this night and there were only 4 foreigners in the joint . A warning to everyone who takes a girl back to your Hotel. Let her have a shower first then hide your wallet and camera etc as you may find the girl missing in the morning and your cash?  THE Good News:  the next night he went back again to the bar and the lady Thai owner made the girl pay most of the money back --- lucky for him as the Thai owner used to live in Australia & our friend was an Aus --- so remember you guys who come here.

Rainbow 2000 is on the first floor of the building directly opposite the Raja Hotel  just 500 metres down Soi 4 on the same side of the road as Angels. More of a disco than Angels, Rainbow gets very full around the early hours. When I say that  1am to 2 am is starting to crank up. Like most Thai joints the music is full on but the service is Ok. Worth a look if new to town.

Soi Cowboy & Nana Plaza are the strip joint places where the drinks are a little on the high side yet the entrance fee is normally free. You can ask the waitresses if you desire the company of the "fairer sex" & the girls have a number from which you select. Ok but the night but it can be dear between 1000- 2000 baht & a bar fine of 500'-600 baht. Don't pay more than the 1000 baht because the night is young and there's plenty of other places. When you go into one joint you will notice they get worse as you head along to the back one  especially in Nana. The small amphitheatre has more go go bars upstairs but after awhile it all looks the same--the girls I mean??. So, why pay a pickup fee of 500 baht and cart the girl around when you'll probably meet them in the Thermae after 3pm !!!!! Soi Cowboy is located  (between Sukhumvit Soi 21 and 23). The best place is Long Gun II, which has special shows, including a 'dart'-show. Other places are Black & White and Tilac.

Clinton Entertainment Plaza (or Clinton Plaza) is a new complex, first opened '99 between Sukhumvit Soi 13 and 15. It has a couple of GoGo bars and beerbars (all outside surrounding the main building). This area has picked up a lot lately and is almost on par with the other areas, but is still too small. Prices are similar to Nanaplaza.

Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel: Tel (02) 254-1234  has a joint called Spasso's in the basement.   Meals are OK & girls are forever present. Don't be fooled though, these are the same girls that you see dancing in GoGo bars, but there prices have just increased somewhat.

GRACE HOTEL: 12 Nana Neua (Soi 3) Sukhumvit Rd. Tel (02) 254-9021 550 rooms around 1000 baht per night. It is now a Hotel taken over by the Africans & Russian's but owned by an Arab. You may find a different type of hooker there if you decide to check it out??? I mean not the Thai ones but the Grace is san OK Hotel. Try the coffee shop in the grace but watch out theres a lot of strange Arabs etc but lots of painted girls as well. Most of the Russian girls seem to freelance around Soi 13 in the outdoor beer garden.

Between Soi 4 and Soi 2 there is the Ra- Jah Hotel.Annies Sauna & Massage Parlor is located adjacent to it.18 Sukhumvit Soi 2-4, Bangkok 10110, Tel.: 251-5680; 255-0040
Coming from Soi 2 it is easier to find .khun A or khun Jackie. They speak English  will make you feel OK. Cost 1000 baht pays for all & girls are behind a big glass screen. Open noon till midnight but worth a look.

EDEN CLUB  Soi 7/1 Sukhumvit Try it if you want a couple of girls at once. Worth it if you can spare the 3600 baht the French owner charges. A must if you haven't seen what these girls can do?????? theres a good English owned bar about 3 doors past the Eden which is really good, quiet no hassles and great English owner. Try it. For adults ONLY A must if you haven't seen what these girls can do??????

PATPONG RD  Try the King's Castle 1 and King's Castle 2. Patpong takes up 3 sois. However, in the last couple of years the nightmarket (selling fake Rolexes & Amanis,Nikies, etc)  has basically taken over the footpaths,& loads of tourists. It has become the place where all the tourists go to have a look at the bars and to get ripped off at the market. Its always crowded and more expensive than other areas. The touts at most of the bars have also become very 'aggressive' in the way they try to get you inside. The bars on the ground floor are OK. There is not a lot of nudity in these bars, although there are some pretty erotic shows on the second floor.However ask how much the drinks are first as they will rip you off. Patpong has lost its charm. Forget about barfining though, the girls may be very attractive, most girls ask exorbitant prices (2,000 Baht shorttime or more ). Have small change not 1000 baht notes when you drink in bars and watch the waitresses who may say you never gave them the 1000 baht so maybe if you have high notes tell the waitress or waiter so they know what they got. Keep away from upstairs bars who will try to rip you & watch your wallet ---- there are many katoeys (trannies) who work in pairs who just love mobiles & wallets. The King's Group seem the better bars to visit.

OOps!  I nearly forgot. If its boy's your'e after then you'd better stay at the Malaysia Hotel & check around Patpong. The Malaysia will put you right as you only need to venture into the Restaurant to find the boy of your choice. This sounds all to easy in Bangkok, & indeed it is. Have fun.

Soi 3: Was a hangout for the Russian girls but a recent bust in February may have changed this a bit. Try another 10 at Soi 13. Theres more gay places but better to check on Gay sites.
